World’s Best Little Zoo – Hurricane Relief (Belize)

Hurricane LISA Hits the Belize Zoo (November 2, 2022) – Tragically, the damage to animals’ habitats and pathways suffered extensive damage. As a result, the Belize Zoo will remain closed until further notice. A small team stayed at the zoo during the hurricane to ensure the animals’ safety and the buildings’ security. Thankfully, the staff and all the animals are safe. The team is focusing their energy on providing care to the beloved wildlife and working to restore “the best little zoo in the world” The Belize Zoo is known as the largest cat zoo in the world.
