Amazing place right on the beach super secluded and peaceful with its on private pier. Was great to hear the waves at night. Only problem was the WiFi did not work. The manager give me access to another wifi but that did not work either so an issue if you want to do any remote work while staying there. Other than that amazing stay in a great location in Belize

This beachfront house is absolutely stunning. The large private pier is fantastic, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sea breeze was beyond perfect. Everything was truly perfect. A huge thank you to Max for bringing us freshly picked coconuts and for sharing great recommendations of places to visit. The Placencia Sidewalk is about a 15-minute drive away. Thank you for allowing me to slow down, relax, and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful place.”

This stay here was perfect. It was better than the pics. I thought that a place with a matching red fridge and microwave was really cool. Sergio our super friendly maintenance man was just spot on. We had a little issue with the septic system and Sergio immediately sprung into action digging up the pipe that the palm roots did their thing to and fixed the problem immediately. Everyone involved with this property was awesome. As well as their recommended services like Marvin from Leo’s car rental, just up the street, was extremely accommodating and helpful. I love Belize and Maya Beach. One of the friendliest countries I have ever visited. I’ll be back soon. One love, Respect!!

Beautiful beach. Nice facility. A bit far if you want to go to the village. No good public transport other than expensive cabs. The bikes are good, the road quite busy, 7 miles to the village.

It's a great place for connecting with nature, and I will definitely go back.

Wowie. This place is a gem! We like a quieter experience when traveling and this place was perfectly away from the business town of Placencia but the perfect golf cart ride distance to get there easily! The bungalow was perfectly equipped with everything you need to cook at home. We very much enjoyed meals out at the very close Maya Beach Bistro. The host is clearly experienced and well versed in great communication! We will for sure be back!

The bungalow was perfect for a quiet vacation spot. Close to great restaurants in Maya Beach and only a 30min golf cart ride to the village for shopping and more great food! We extended our stay a few days because we just couldn’t get enough of the beautiful surroundings and peaceful time spent here. Listening to the ocean 24/7 was absolutely perfect!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at On The Beach bungalows. Mark, our host was super friendly and had great suggestions for local food and fun. The space was cozy, quaint and comfortable. It felt like a cabin in the woods, only on the beach. We watched the sunrise from the front porch every morning -glorious!
The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you could need, the bed was comfortable and the shower is amazing. We loved that the place was small with only three rentals so we really felt like we were on our own private beach. We would definitely recommend and book here again.

wat een geweldige plek! Direct aan het strand en een cabana met alles erop en eraan! zelfs een lamp met blue tooth!we waren wat vroeg,maar geen probleem! we kregen allerlei tips wat er overal te doen was en waar je lekker kon eten en drinken. We zullen hier weer heen gaan als we Belize aandoen, geweldige plek!

Mark is a great host and very knowledgeable of the area. He spent a good amount of time with us discussing things to do, places to eat and answered a lot of questions that we had about local real estate and the short term rental platform. The place is very clean and plenty spacious and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great Place - exactly what we needed!

The bungalow was lovely, tastefully furnished with quality bath stuffs and bedding. It was clean and the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook a simple meal.
Sand fleas are real. And they are hungry.
The view of the ocean and access to the water was excellent, we swam right out front.
The road is a bit noisy though, and construction all around. There’s also a water pump under the structure that’s a little noisy. There are restaurants and grocery nearby but the action is in the placencia village.

I took a taxi from Placencia Airport and we missed the location as the sign was not visible going south and we ended up at Flip Flop Palace which I thought was it...but it was not. Found help and Host communicated with them found location. BEAUTIFUL beach bungalow that was better than the inside pictures showed. Very well equipped and thought out! Bed super comfy and linens fresh and top notch! Kitchen fully equipped and shutters on all sides which lent to tropical breezes of plenty! Clean and organized! I did love this location with the exception of the LOUD street traffic and 2 barking dogs across the street tied up all night! The next day I discovered that the ambience included hammering and sawing of the home being constructed right next to the beach condos located next door. I decided 2 travel south along the beachfront to a couple of small beach resorts that offered full use of their pool and chaise lounges that had no construction or street noise. I decided 2 move.

Sergio was fantastic! The place was very beautiful and we really enjoyed our private beach and dock.

Very good stay

Really enjoyed our stay in Maya Beach - the bungalow was absolutely adorable with many little amenities included adding a nice touch. Loved the private oceanfront setting...the only bummer was the large amounts of brown seaweed that seem to be everywhere so we couldn't swim at the location - but that was Mother Nature's doing, not LivIt Belize. 🙂 The ocean breeze was wonderful for staying cool and the sound of the waves at night was peaceful and calming. Only thing I wish I would have known was that the golf carts rent out and should be reserved ahead of arriving - was able to find a rental car though to get around and see and do many things! Would definitely recommend this cute bungalow and hopefully will be able to return again in the future!

Beautiful setting, modern amenities, lots of towels, shower is fantastic and the fans were truly incredible so having no AC was no problem! Sunrise was awesome everyday! Book this place you won’t be disappointed.
Rent a golf cart or car ahead of time! They seem to run out. Sunshine scooters saved the day!

I had a great stay at Flip Flop 2 in Maya Beach. The location was right on the beach and quiet. Mark the owner was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay. He gave us lots of great recommendations on where to eat and what to do, he even helped us reserve a golf cart which was a huge help. The cabana is well appointed and was spotless upon check in. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Placencia/Maya Beach I highly recommend this property!
